As long as the website and the information and services on the website are provided free of charge, we will not be liable for any loss or damage of any nature.

Terms of hire:

The below terms and conditions must be signed and agreed to upon receipt of any MVAudio equipment.

'The Company' shall refer to MVAudio and 'the customer' the signatory on the hire sheet.

  1. All orders must be confirmed in writing or via email. An order is considered accepted by the company upon sending a confirmation email.

  2. If the ordered item is unavailable due to prior hire or damage, a substitute will be made of comparable quality and functionality. The customer will have the right to refuse a substitute and receive a refund.

  3. Payment is due as stated on the invoice. Late payment will incur interest at 8% above the Bank of England base rate per annum, calculated daily, as per the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998, plus reasonable debt recovery costs and will not be liable for any damages or loss which may be suffered by the customer.

  4. Any high-value individual items with an msrp of £500 and above or for first-time customers, a deposit against loss or damage will be required of £200. This must be made by credit card and will be held for the rental period and will be released after collection and inspection of all equipment.

  5. Any equipment hired will be entirely at the customers risk during the hire period and the customer will be responsible for any loss or damage howsoever arising; except with the company undertakes to operate the equipment in which case the company will accept responsibility for any loss or damage caused entirely by the company's own acts or omissions. The customer shall insure the equipment against all risks for its full replacement value. Proof of insurance may be required by the Company. Failure to provide proof of insurance will result in the customer being liable for the full replacement cost of any lost or damaged equipment.

  6. Cables are supplied coiled and either PVC taped or Velcro strapped. They must be returned under the same condition. A charge of 50p will be added to the final invoice per cable for untangling, recoiling and taping.

  7. Plugs and sockets must not be removed form equipment hire under any circumstances. A charge of £1.50 will be added to the final invoice per cable end for re-wiring.

  8. Any damage, defect or failure in any hired equipment must be reported within 24hrs of its occurrence by phone to the number on the quote or email to info@mvaudio.co.uk. By default, the customer will be charged for the cost of repair or replacement in cases of loss or damage (as above)

  9. Subject to the provisions of the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Company's liability for any loss or damage arising from the hire of the equipment shall be limited to the value of the hire charges. The Company shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential losses, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of business, or loss of opportunity. Nothing in these terms and conditions shall exclude or limit the Company's liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, or for any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited by law.
